Born in 1989 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Roma lives and works in Kyiv. He holds an MA in Arts from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. In 2015, He gained international recognition by winning the Prize for Best Installation at Saatchi Gallery, London, as part of the UK/raine competition for emerging artists from the UK and Ukraine. Roma was also nominated for the prestigious PinchukArtCentre Prize in both 2016 and 2018, solidifying her place among the leading voices of the new generation of Ukrainian contemporary artists.
