Lia Bagrationi is a prominent Georgian artist known for her work in ceramics. Based in Tbilisi, she has had a long and successful career in the arts. After graduating from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1980, she co-founded the Georgian Ceramic Art and Craft Foundation, “The Clay Office,” which is dedicated to promoting ceramics as an art form in Georgia. She is also a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC), which is headquartered in Geneva.
